Rockstar
I typically give rides to 7-8-year-olds, and I take my job seriously—well, as seriously as an old man like me needs to! I’ve been around the block a few times, and I know these trails like the back of my hoof.

Hi, I’m Miss Essey! I came to Wild West when I was 5 and have been giving rides to 8-10-year-olds for the past nine years. I may only have one eye, so my riders need to be mindful, but don’t worry—I’m as sweet as they come!

I’m Fabio, the resident escape artist! Our trail guides have to keep a close eye on me, or I’ll be trotting across the field in search of greener grass. Not only can I slip out of my own halter—I’ll free my friends too! With my stunning blue eyes and mischievous spirit, I definitely keep things interesting around here.

Hey there, I’m AJ, and I’m a fan favorite here at Wild West. I’m pretty relaxed and prefer to mind my own business. I do what I’m told without question, and I often fall asleep while waiting for the next ride. When it’s time to hit the trail, I like to take the road less traveled—walking on the side of the trail is just my thing!

I’m Gus! I came from the same kill pen as PB, and that trek up here from Texas was no joke. But now I’m living the dream, giving rides to 10-13 year-olds and enjoying every second.

Hey, I’m Dakota! The trail guides like to call me a moody mare, but don’t let that fool you—girl campers and trail riders love my sweet side. I get mistaken for Copper all the time, but you can tell us apart because I only have one sock, and he’s got two.

Hey, I’m Copper! I’ve been here the longest and am one of the leaders of the herd. I was raised by the owner’s daughter, Nicole, and she’s my best friend. I’d do anything for her, and she loves it when I take people on trail rides—so I guess I like it too.

I’m miss Maggie Mae! I'm the grandma of the herd and one of the largest horses around. With my draft horse background, I’m perfect for taking 4-6 year old's out on the trails when they ride double with an adult.

Yes, I’m Expo—like the Expo marker! I give rides to adults, but just like Maggie, I also take 4-6 year old's out on the trails when they ride double with an adult. I’m a gentle giant and all about making my own path—literally!

Hey there, my name is Cowboy! I came to Wild West with my buddy Chief, and we’re best buds—though I’ve got a little more pep in my step than he does. I can’t wait to meet everyone who comes to Wild West (and steal some treats along the way)!

Hi, I’m Shelbie! I’m not a horse, but my mom loves horses, so you’ll find me hanging around the campground. I won’t be too far from my mom, who works in the office. I’m super friendly and, just like the horses, I respond to kisses!
