Saddles, Smiles & Sisterhood: 2025 Camp Season Recap at Wild West Campground & Corral
With the last bunk empty and the final marshmallow toasted, we’re looking back on a summer that was nothing short of extraordinary. The 2025 Horse Camp Season welcomed incredible guests, devoted families and a loyal crew of horse-loving folks who made Wild West Campground & Corral feel like home on the range.
From the first hoofbeat to the last campfire song, every moment was packed with laughter, learning and a whole lot of horse-powered magic. Here’s a roundup of the highlights:
🐎 Girls Horse Camp
A whopping 244 spirited young riders saddled up for Girls Horse Camp! These cowgirls-in-training spent their days mastering horsemanship, bonding with bunkmates, and soaking up sunshine on the trails. Whether it was their first time in the saddle or their fifth summer with us, each camper brought heart, grit, and a whole lot of giggles.
👩👧 Mother/Daughter Horse Camp
We welcomed 46 guests for a weekend of connection, adventure, and shared trail rides. Some came as pairs, others as trios or more—but all left with stronger bonds and cherished memories. From grooming sessions to sunset rides, this camp was all about quality time and the joy of experiencing horses together.
🌻 Women’s Weekend
Small but mighty, our 15 incredible women brought bold energy and big smiles to this empowering retreat. With trail rides, laughter around the fire, and plenty of time to unwind, this weekend was a celebration of friendship, freedom, and the healing power of horses.
As we reflect on the season, our hearts are full. We’re grateful for the families who trust us, the staff who give their all and the horses who carry our dreams. Whether you joined us for a single weekend or the whole summer, you’re part of the Wild West family.
Here’s to dusty boots, full hearts, and the promise of another wild ride in 2026.
Stay tuned for next year’s Horse Camp dates—and until then, happy trails!
